I am proud to live in Sioux Falls. This community is open and welcoming in addition to being invested in current events locally, nationally and globally. This blog can serve as a networking place for people interested in supporting local artists, practitioners, and businesses. I invite all interested individuals to please blog information about any local individual/company that can benefit from our support.
As a Holistic Nurse, it helps for me to discover the support systems people currently have in place. Feeling a part of a community - supported, understood, and welcomed - is a pleasant place to exist. In this age of technology, we may sometimes lose sight of the value of interacting face-to-face with those individuals who bring light in to our lives. These web pages are a nice way to begin the process of widening our horizons and providing information on subjects we find interesting. However, I encourage people to take some time to get out and meet each other.
It is my hope that we can utilize this blog as a meeting place for clients and practitioners to find each other in our community. As practitioners, we all have a unique perspective/quality to offer our clients. In my opinion there is no need for a sense of competition to be present. As for individuals seeking care, I encourage you to ask around, do research, meet with people who you know and trust and put yourself out there.
Here is a small list of some of the people and places I know around town. Take a peek at these links and have fun exploring your community!

The rejuvenating and restorative benefits of Yoga can help bring peace and balance to people during times of stress. Here is a link to some articles in Yoga Journal about Yoga and cancer.
